  Torture "we" had to go through? Who is we? Lest you forget, freedom means being able to talk about things or display things that others may find offensive... it has its meaning but I'm not going to explain it again for the 1000th time...

  Of course we have to study Hitler, how else will we know when another one pops up? Do you think the next dictator will have a funny mustache and a brown shirt? People like Yada think that because what he did was so horrific, it will be easy to spot someone like him, but the truth is he didn't rise to power by saying he would start another world war, it was all appeals to German Nationalism and pride which had suffered due to the war. It was confirmation bias on a huge scale, they wanted to believe they were superior, and that the Jews had caused all their problems. The German people were neither more evil or less intelligent than any other country, they were just manipulated. By the time they realized he was a problem it was too late, they had given him too much power.

  Just like the Watchtower doesn't say they will take over your life and cut you off from your friends and family if you object. What is important is to be able to see the manipulation for what it is, however much it appeals to our pride or desires.
