    Lurkers...

Check your calendars... October 2, 2014 is only 500 days away...

Look for illogical Nu-Lite from the WT in publications and conventions that will attempt to explain this away.

They've already bought themselves some time by splitting a "generation" into 2 overlapping generations... Still, they have a lot of explaining to do... this should get really interesting... stay tuned...

    500 DAYS

Is that something like 10 Jubilees (applying the traditional Days for a Year policy)?

Are all the JW numerologists dead?

When Jesus was speaking of "the END", it was a reference to what the natural Jews thought "the end" was, which was the end of their current "system of things" which was rule by gentiles. So the "end" is a reference to the "end of the gentile times" which ended on November 30, 1947 when the Jews officially came out of exile.

So if a generation of 1914 was from 1914-1994, then the end came within that time in 1947.

When the bible says the "good news" would be preached worldwide just before the end came, it is a reference to the tiny group of Christians that started out in the mid 1800's becoming an international organization by the time the Jews came out of exile, that is, in 1947. This meant the "good news" would have become worldwide within Christendom by that time, which it had. But also there is a direct fulfillment. Check this out:

Kingdom Proclamation Surges Ahead With a view to worldwide expansion, on February 6, 1947, the Society’s president and his secretary, Milton G. Henschel, embarked on a 47,795-mile [76,916 km] world service tour. The trip took them to islands of the Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East, the Mediterranean area, Central and Western Europe, Scandinavia, England, and Newfoundland. It was the first time since 1933 that representatives of the Society’s headquarters staff in Brooklyn had been able to visit their brothers in Germany. Jehovah’s Witnesses around the world followed the two travelers as reports of the trip were published in issues of The Watchtower throughout 1947.
    (Proclaimers, p. 98)

Therefore, Knorr's worldwide lecture tour literally fulfilled the "good news" being preached world wide just before the "end" occurred on November 30, 1947.

Having the right interpretation is everything, so:

    1. The "great tribulation" of Matthew is not Armageddon but the Holocaust. This is different from the "great tribulation" that occurs in connection with Armageddon. Matthew 24:29 clearly says this tribulation is OVER before the 2nd coming.. i.e. "Immediate after the tribulation of those days..."

    2. The "end" of the system of things Jesus was talking about to the Jews was the end of the gentile times, which ended in 1947. It was not a reference to Armageddon. By 1947, the WTS had preached the "good news" around the globe within the world of Christendom, with NH Knorr literally preaching the the "good news" earlier that year in a worldwide speaking tour. So the prophecy about the "end" coming after the good news was preached was literally fulfilled.

I know it is hard to separate what the WTS teaches and what the Bible actually teaches. But the light is available now for those who want to understand the Bible. For those paying attention and for those who are honest and still seeking answers.

As far as the "last generation" is concerned, it was fulfilled!

The last generation of 80 years from 1914-1994 would see two important things:

    1) The END, meaning the end of the gentile times, which occurred on November 30, 1947.

    2) The 2nd coming, which occurs in 1992. The 2nd coming must fulfill the 70th week like the first coming, which was from 29-36 CE. The first coming fulfills the first half of the 70th week, the 2nd coming the second half. Thus Christ arrives in the middle of the 70th week at the 2nd coming. 70 weeks is 490 years and 4 x 490 = 1960. Add 36 CE to 1960 and the 70th week during our time which is the time of the 2nd coming ends in 1996. (1960 + 36 = 1996). That means the 70th week of the second coming is 1989-1996. The mid-week passover occurs on April 6, 1993. That means christ would have to arrive within less than a year of April 6, 1993 and thus sometime in 1992-1993. That means Jerusalem has to fall in 529 BCE and not 607 BCE or 587 BCE. But the VAT4956, which has dating to the original year 37 of Nebuchadnezzar II in 511 BCE, dates year 19 in 529 BCE. So we now have an independent reference to what the original timeline was, leaving no excuses for when to date the 2nd coming. 1992 occurs during the 70th week so the Bible is fulfilled if you have the right interpretation. If you don't, it seems the Bible has failed and like the WTS, there is a desperate effort to stretch out and overlap "generations" to make their false teachings seem true.

The "end" is the end of the gentile times which happened in 1947. Armageddon thus does not have to occur before the end of a generation of 80 years from 1914-1994. This has already been fulfilled. The end of the gentile times occurred in 1947, the 2nd coming in 1992, both events prior to 1994 as prophesied!

A congregation I was in, 1969-1976, had a PO that would give the weekly Countdown to Oct.1 1975. We should do the weekly countdown to Oct.1 2014 and watch the big fizzle like a wet firecraker.
