I've just logged on, and it is great to see so many comments already.
The concept is fantastic. So many people have made independent contributions to assisting Jehovah's Witnesses over the years, but it has been difficult getting larger initiatives completed without any structure. Getting organised and helping each other will make sure that the message going to the media is more accurate, timely and effective. It will also make it easier to collect information in a single point, such as regarding supportive media, legal and medical groups globally.
15 years ago the internet started to chip away at cults by providing information and ways to find like minded ones, but often the sites and information was of dubious quality.
Recently, I have noticed a great increase in the quality of information on the internet. Social media platforms and youtube have made it far easier to connect to a far broader community and present very compelling information.
This is the right time to be taking our activities to the next level, and the Watchtower is rightfully paranoid about the affect we are having on them, as seen by the endless comments about apostates, the internet and disfellowshipped people over the last couple of years.
