  Shirley one thing I noticed when I first arrived here was really poor grama and mispelled words (I personally am a very poor speller).

  Then I began to understand that English was not everyone's first language....that this was an international forum. Looked at in that light I became impressed with the effort people made to share their thoughts and ideas.

  I also learned that many post at work using their phones. So I think we all make adjustments when reading or replying to posts and have learned to appreciate what is being said not the appearence.

  I was enthralled by your story. It is amazing how many of us, quite independantly tread the same path, for the same reasons. I was well "in" having been there (off and on) most of my life, with many years of elder service behind me ... Doctrinally I had the same issues that you had and, we have to make a choice. Like you and the rest of us here, I chose truth instead of a comfortable continuance of the way of life.

  OH YESSSSS ..... like winning the lottery ...... thank you God for giving us the gift of this remakrable man.

  Was feeling happy for first time today, ecstatic now.

  Vindication for me personally, my past few weeks have been a bit tortureous finding my way.

  I really loved your comment about Ray Franz, I haven't got his book yet.

  If it was headed by men like Ray Franz it would truly be a christ like arrangement

  I believe the message but not the WT org.

  God help our brothers and sisters who are true Christians and still enslaved, please make them wake up and see this is clearly Satan' organisation.

  Welcome Shirley, thanks for posting your story.

  One thing that stuck out for me was your field service comments. I also hated FS. But I wondered, if you genuinely believed that you had a life saving message, if Armageddon really was approaching....wouldn't you get that message out in the most effective way?

  Wouldn't you use your money to run infomercials (like that sham wow guy?)

  wouldn't you advise all young JW to go to university & set up JW social groups on campus?

  Wouldn't you encourage socialisation with the world so they can hear the good news about Jehovah?

  all of these things would be more effective than door to door, but it drags on. Really to keep the rank and file busy, nothing more.

  Of course we can all assume that you are typing this on a stolen

  tablet computer while squatting in a refrigerator box under a overpass .

  Waiting to score some more meth from your hooker girlfriend . At least thats

  where you will be sooooon . It must be so thats what the GB says will happen

  to anyone who leaves "Jehovah" (Watchtower) .
