OK, encouraging others in spiritual pursuits VS living large.

Encouraging others in spiritual pursuits means, minimal wage

job or part time, causing anxiety from the wife because you are

not providing the basic needs for the family, they suffer. Donation

decrease (I bet they(WT) didn,t think of that. So you work two or three

jobs to survive, now you need encouragement, you are burn-out, spiritual

weak. Hummm, more money more money doesn,t sound bad.

Finklestein nailed it The WT abandons their own workers and tells them to go on welfare, live on social security and food stamps, and get whatever government handouts they can.

I knew a Bethel Worker who was also a long time poineer who went to bethel worked for years and when he got cancer they just showed him the door. So I hope these posters who are still attending WT studies are minor children who have no choice, because its a waste of life, talent, time to stay in. If you are teenagers, plan your life, get financial aid and go to college and if questioned just act innocent like you don't know what they mean and keep going.

I can,t recall the scripture but it states, money is

a protection. It may not be a answer for everything but

    it doesn,t hurt you.

Of course, it's a little known fact - closely guarded by the secret chambers of headquarters in fact - that most of current Governing Body policy on family life is determined directly by "young people" in good standing. These young people are an exceptionally rare breed - even fewer in number than the old fogies on the Governing Body

Necessary requirements to belong to this elite youthful JW body: No experience of life in the "real world", combined with an absolute knowledge and certainty of what "the truth" is.

I hear it takes two or so decades of actual life in the real world before these "young ones" have the unsettling realization that life experience proves wrong their old absolute knowledge and certainty of what "the truth" is.

Give it time and these "perfect" young people become more tolerable. Thank goodness that, in the process of growing up, most of them have the good sense to have already left the organization that they once believed was the repository of "the truth".

I would take my father's spiritual support over his money any day.

Does that mean he walks to the KH rather than drive the nice, new car his daddy bought him?

    I didn't think so.

" And just remember boys and girls that achieving higher education is like putting a gun to your head,

so keep that in mind when you do finish high school "

Recent quote from a GB member.

Higher education has done nothing for humanity anyways !

Finkelstein: are you kidding. They actually put that in

print "Higher education has done nothing for humanity

anyways"!. Come on, they can't be that stupid.

If so, that should be required reading for every high school

student. The WT is nuts, if they were running things we

would be back in the desert trying to figure out where we

need to go to relieve ourselves (bathroom).
