While trying to reconcile my past life with where I'm at today, I came across this old post and was wondering if the memorial is still pretty much the same? Has the format changed at all?

Lol , great post.
We had a new partaker move into our hall recently ( she married an older widower). She pretty nutty. Anyway she had the audacity to complain about the taste of the wine! I tasted it later and while it wasn’t very good, the was nothing wrong with it.

The sermon has become an incoherent mess that no outsider could possibly understand. Other than that, everything is pretty much the same.

I think it is the height of rudeness to invite people to an evening meal and tell them to observe it rather than join in.
Who ever invites people over for a meal and tells them to just watch? Very rude.

When I was in, we all used to joke:
How was your memorial?
Blah blah blah - don't drink the wine
Blah blah blah - don't drink the wine
Blah blah blah - don't drink the wine
Can substitute "don't even think you are going to heaven."
