I hate to sound foolish, but may I ask you all a question? If you wanted out, why not simply DA yourself, or refuse to meet with these men you know have no authority over you any longer, and let them df you without meeting with them? I consider myself to be someone who tries to show others respect, but from some of the descriptions I have read of some jc's, I seriously would have told these men to blow it out their butts after a few minutes. I don't mean to sound flip, I am just really curious. Thank you.

I ask myself the same thing... FEAR.. I still believed it was the TRUTH... no support like now... I figured I would make it though Armagedon on my own, as long as I didn't do the unforgiveble, think for myself...

DAZED- Yeah, these wack elders were a bunch of powermongers who wanted to have my baby I guess - so they wanted every detail. Had an even MORE embarrasing thing happen when I was married to a JW wife years ago . She went to the elders claiming I forced her to allow me to perform oral sex on HER ! Now that beats all. Yet she never said " No. " Just felt guilty afterwards, then called the elders inviting them to our house to talk about it- without my knowing she called them. Talk about strange. Then she called several JW buddys I knew and told them I ' Forced ' her to allow me to " service " her. The elders who came and talked with us told her she needed to see a psychiatrist .

I'll tell you what- I bet my kibbles and jiblets have been discussed by more elders in secret meetings than I care to know. These guys are preposterous. LOL ! Freaking insane

Holy cats! It just shows the conditioning JWs go through that you would even answer intimate questions like that. Especially after you confessed to them!

And you know they're picturing the whole thing.

I was hauled before JC one time, but it was because I had confronted my father (former elder in the cong for 14 years) about years of verbal abuse I suffered at his hands. He was furious with me and filled the elders' heads with all sorts of lies about me, so when I got there they refused to believe a word I said, even though I had a second witness there with me (my husband). I didn't get canned, but my father warned me later that if I mentioned it again he'd have my friends DF'd.

Think About It

When I was a young man I was out of the JW's when my 18 yo JW girlfriend got DF'd for fornication with me. The head elder of her JC was a married elder in his late 20's or early 30's. This guy was as pompous as they come, and thought he was hot shit. She was stalked, and in the JC meeting she was asked all the juicy details about our sex. Later this same elder got DF'd when it was found out he was having an affair with another elder's wife, and he got busted screwing prositutes during his work break. I always thought he had the hots for my girl friend who later became my wife.
