Merge in this topic: Ted Wright, mentioned previously, has died.

Another update, Anton Irons is currently serving as an elder in one of the London / Essex circuits.

Would it be possible if one of the members here creates a document with a list of all the UK COs over the years, indicating current, former or now disfellowshipped ones?

Never did get on with him, or his wife. (Dody was her name). I think there was a general sigh of relief when he moved.

There is a similar Thread to this one by Timothy T, could they be merged ??

This is an old thread, but it mentioned Doug Turnbull who some on here knew (or knew of) so I thought I'd post here that I heard that the pioneer sister he married then dumped (causing the big scandal back in the day) died last month at the age of 90. She was still a pioneer right up until recently when her health took a turn.

Other names on this thread I recognise:
    Anton Irons
    Mike Spurr
Mike Purbrick (universally loathed, it seems!)
    David Rastall
    Dennis Dutton
    Mel Parkin
    Ron Drage
    David Algar
    Alan Stokes
    .. and more.

So many memories, so many lives.. slipped or slipping away.
"Time and unforeseen occurrence befalls them all" indeed!
