Planning out my business week on my palm pilot [haha]making out like i was doing the sound at the back of the hall.

Checking out any of the hot single and married women....the best was as a mic handler in the summer....looking down the front of all of the low cut outfits of the sisters. Some really hotty hot women out there in the flock.

I thought about all sorts of things. What was for dinner. Work. Sex. When sister silly would make a silly comment. The little hottie with the revealing dress. Sometimes I thought about spiritual things -honest!!

My hall had maybe one or two hot sisters. There was a time when there were about 5 or so but they all left.

During the meeting I would think about different scenarios for defending the Kingdom Hall, like if there was a zombie apocalypse or a madman with a gun, or a trained army unit assaulting the Kingdom Hall. Then i would put myself in the opposite scenario and see what strategy I'd have to hold all the friends hostage.

Usually there was a hockey game or baseball game on the night of the meeting so I'd be checking the score. Towards the end of my tenure in the JW's I would be texting throughout the whole meeting, not giving a crap if anybody saw me. I liked to wander around the back of the hall or the lobby, and talk it up with whoever was working as the lobby attendant.

I would usually be working on a talk or meeting part during a meeting. Often I'd get up and stand at the literature desk and do that. Since I was a MS and attendant everyone thought I was taking the count or handling some kind of congregation business.

I just couldn't bear to listen to these uneducated people who don't even use correct grammar and cannot read. Most of the brothers on the platform were totally incompetent. For example, during the WT Sister Jones answered a question correctly. But conductor kept calling on people, trying to get someone to give the correct answer. Well the first person he called on gave the answer. So when he kept calling on more and more people, the hands stopped coming up because everyone was wondering what is he looking for? Then when he finally gives the answer everyone says, "That's what Sister Jones said." Then he says, "I didn't hear her." After the mtg I ask him, then why did you thank her for her comment if you didn't hear what she said? Why didn't you ask her to repeat it if you didn't hear what she said?

Or - here's a good one - the visiting speaker (Sunday) and his wife stay for the WT, during which the speaker raises his hand to comment. The conductor calls on him: "Let's get this visiting brother over here. And can you tell us your name please?"

I just shake my head and say to myself, "No wonder none of these people can hold jobs."

I used to zone out totally from childhood on. Problem is that whenever someone starts to bore me now my mind just automatically zones out and I miss what people are saying. Quite useful at work in boring meetings but can be anoying when I miss something important.
