Also go ahead and get the social workers involved if you can since this might call into question the fitness of them to parent her half-siblings (or create documentation for when they get kicked out in a few years)

Speak to your lawyer too about obtaining full custody of your daughter under these circumstances

Have your daughter write out her account of what was said and what is happening (including her emotional feelings about all of it).....again documentation

Such documentation is valuable for you, her and later down the line for her half siblings because they will certainly be in a bind themselves in a few years and she could provide their social worker with such evidence of abuse/neglect and emotional trauma.

Your daughter can file a police report and give them an itemized list of her belongings that she paid for herself with her money, along with the money jerkwad owes her and the $200 in her bank account.

The police will show up and collect her stuff on her behalf. If they refuse, let's just say that it won't go well for them.

Aussie Oz, I agree that having the police there to get your daughter's personal items is a very good idea. We all know how 'honest' Jw's can be when telling what 'really' happened. This way they can't get away with twisting things if this ends up in court.

Sounds like her mother & step dad are doing your anti witnessing for you. Children are good at seeing hypocrisy in adults. So glad she has a home to go to where she can be free to think for herself. You're a good dad. Leslie
