For what it is worth, neither Ed Dunlap nor his brother Marion had any kind of formal memorial service.

I have decided to take the same course - basically, just one more thing that now seems pointless and silly about religion after the witnesses.

You might be interested in what Celebrants offer. (The site is not nearly as flashy as that great wedding video, though!)

I have seen that you can't stop family and friends from having a memorial service even if you express your desire not to have one or not to have them included.

Include your wishes for your funeral in your will, no matter your age. Select someone to act as the organizer.

I dont want or plan on a funeral.

I grew up in Cleveland Ohio but 30 years ago moved to Florida.

Florida is pretty transcient and there are not a lot of funerals like up north.

I'am pretty sure if I dont plan for, leave money or make arrangements for a funeral

    there wont be one.

If you are somebody who is very socially well known, you might have a funeral, or have one for your mate.

If you have lots of family in the area, you might have a funeral.

But if you live a quiet life to yourself there is not much likelyhood of a funeral.
