Let's talk about the worst articles from the WT for young people (YPA articles and others).

I'm thinking about the "if your eye offends you, snatch it out" bit. I'm thinking that one SHOULD work in reverse, too, i.e. snatching OTHER people's eyes out if they offend you?

Now that I'm in an annoyed mood (unrelated to this thread), I'd really like to expound on this subject. :P

I love how this whole thread is technically staying on topic and yet is focusing completely on masturbation.

Touche' on the hand-picked choice of appropriate emoticons....

    NC stipulates:

I think we should name the book, The Perv and the Neurotic!

Wait: which one am I, again?

Back to Sol: How dare you suggest that any child I taught would have dirty fingers! There is a bottle of Purell within reaching distance from ANYWHERE in this house!

Nevermind: I see you're clearly the neurotic one, the obsessive-compulsive type. So, I'm the.... HEY!!!

Experts New Chapter and King Solomon offer their timely wisdom on a variety of modern teen issues, in such thought-provoking chapters as "What To Fantasize About During Masturbation" and "Disney Heroines- Why the Appeal?"

Sounds very interesting: I'd read it....

Probably going to have to tidy up the language a bit, if we're going to submit it for publication to Awake, tho! They have very prudish censors there!

KS: "Sperm and associated fluid are generated 24/7, and as stated above, the fluid IS going to come out of the male's testicles via his penis, one way or the other, whether he wants it to happen or not. "

Here's some further detail on the matter as it was explained to me... The accumulated male fluids are actually a concentrated batch of cells and salts that are stored in the protate and various other tubes and chambers. The best approach for health in those "man parts" is to keep things moving so that the fluids aren't stored for long and will be more likely to be dilute. Leaving those fluids in there until a nocturnal emission is the equivalent of trying to hold your feces or urine until you physically lose complete control of the situation. Obviously, doing that is bad for your bladder, kidneys, colon, and overall health. Similarly, it's bad for your prostate.

And some further details on the matter as it was explained to me... The YPA crap says that masturbation is bad because it's "selfish" and "idolatry". However, the basic question is, how can you expect someone else to satisfy you sexually if you don't know how your own parts work? Rather than your sex life being a puzzle, at least go in knowing your magic spots so that you can inform your partner. And porn can make it all even more educational. If you want to be good at something, you have to spend time practicing and learning from the experts, right?

    Billy Boy,

You would dare educate Wise King Solomon on prostate health? Believe me, I have a hard enough time dealing with the frequent trips to the restroom at 2 AM with a 3,000 yr old prostate gland!!

True, but I think many of the women will agree that men's understanding of their what gives a male satisfaction is not the issue here: it's the males inability to get the woman off that's more of a problem...

But that leads us to this:

Rather than your sex life being a puzzle, at least go in knowing your magic spots so that you can inform your partner. And porn can make it all even more educational. If you want to be good at something, you have to spend time practicing and learning from the experts, right?

    Yeah, I'd agree in spirit.

But "porn = educational?" Hmmm, that's a questionable assertion, since most of it that I've seen heard about is very much filmed from the male perspective (where from porns, you'd think "spilling one's seed" on a woman's face and in her eye gives her some sort of pleasure? Hmmm....)

This is one of the fundamental errors JWs make, not allowing males AND females to learn from prior experiences. Instead, they're expected to buy each other's cars without the benefit of a test drive, unable to see if they're sexually-compatible? HUGE mistake....

(Another hold-over from the male calculus of thinking, "if she doesn't know any other experiences, then she won't know how much I really suck (or don't suck; wink, wink, nudge nudge) in bed... Flawed logic, all the way around.)

Easily solved. Erotica---porn for women. There's your education---but you will have to read. I know, I know, but good things come () to those who work for it. Oh and splashing someone in the eye is just rude in any context.

When we are finished with this thread, we will bind it and sell it.

I allways felt the YPA book left many questions unanswered, for instance, it never mentioned if self-fellatio was a sin or not.

Regarding the Biblical admonision to "deaden your members as regards fornication" etc, Iam inclined to wonder if this was a Biblical commandment to masturbate?, my personal experience is that its the only way I know to curb the otherwise constant obsession with sex I got whenever I tried not too.

I also had major problems with their masturbation articles...it's part of the reason I discovered this forum! I had problems with it because they have the nerve to say that it's not in the bible and yet make it into a bad thing anyway...just because they feel like it. I never agreed with it, and kept on with my habits.

It would be pretty hilarious if they went through the trouble to try and categorize it. Nonetheless...I don't care what they think about it.
