Now that the WTS HQ and other buildings are sold off or pending, the movie producer could get permission to shoot the film 'on location'.

    Total burn...

i cant imagine any member of the great unwashed general public paying to see a film about jehovahs witnesses.

I personally think the right screenplay could really make a film based on Rays life a real critical success. He was a very bave and principled man who gave up much lost potential to become a witness( as do we all), then at the end, when he had most to gain by remaining a witness, he left for reasons of loyalty, decency and conscience. He remained a Christian, don't forget. The public would love it.

    And Matt Damon...absolutely.

I also think a good director would be Duncan Bowie, David Bowies son.

Matt Damon is too sexy and cute to play Raymond Franz. My money is on Matthew Broderick. His personality seems to be 'low key' like Franz's, also.

Nah Personally if this guy was still alive, I think he would fit the role perfectly. Not only does he look like Ray Franz, he also has a rather fitting song too.
