What is the ULTIMATE goal of the Watchtower Society?

I think the "ultimate goal" when it was founded was for the Watchtower to be a prototype obedience/mind control religion for the New World Order. At this point, since the NWO isn't going to happen, it's just a billion-dollar a year printing corporation and they're trying to keep it running as long as they can.

Since negative entities, or "demons" feed off of fear, and emotions are energy, it also seems that black magicians have a way of harnessing the negative emotion of fear, to offer up as "food" to their demon gods.

The "ultimate goal" has become that of any other large bureaucracy: self-preservation.

Once an organization becomes large enough they all share the same two goals:

    1. Protect their existence

    2. Growth

Governments, religion, corporate entities all share this. And they will do whatever they can to reach both goals, and are only stopped when public opinion threatens their growth or existence.

Susan Atkins, of the Manson Family thought that Charlie got much of his control by getting The Family to commit crimes for him.

My family has encouraged people to shun their children, parents, siblings etc, die refusing transplants and blood, get locked up and abused over military service and flag saluting, trash other people for thier choice of religion. They are just as much tied to the bOrg as Red and Blue are tied to Charlie, and for similar reasons. Their goal is to not admit that the wrongs they committed were in vain.

The GB are the instigators of this madness, so, like Charlie, their goal is to keep up the charade to keep their feelings of guilt at bay.

You can never tell with religious extremists, including the Dubs. Really, what is the Westboro Baptist Church's goal? Harold Campings people? They just need to perpetuate their beliefs and wait for the big "payoff" from God, whenever that happens.

    Tralfamadorian nailed it.

The goal of the corporate entity called the Watchtower Society is to continue. Same goal for the corporate entity called The Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. The goal of all entities is to perpetuate their existence.

As for the GB, don't underestimate the monetary value of the life they live. Few of us here on JWN could afford both a New York City apartment and at-will international travel and they get both for FREE. What's their goal individually and as a body? Best case=their doctrine is correct, tribulation and Armageddon come 'soon', and they get to go to heaven to continue ruling over us. Next-best case=they get to live out their lives as GB members, die, and leave the thorny doctrinal issues to GB3.0. They don't even consider anything else except perhaps in the privacy of their own minds.

As for whether they're true believers or not, I don't know. Ray Franz didn't know these guys. The guys he served with are all dead.

To make profit. They could CARE LESS if there is a 'Jehovah.' I believe there are a lot of watchtower men who are agnostic like me or even atheist. You'd be surprised. Jehovah is the hook word. That is what has so many people trapped. A lot of people out here knows how sensitive people are about the bible, and how mind controlled they are, and people are committed to exploiting that.

Watchtower society purpose in a nutshell: To make money, plain and simple

This question has more meaning, if we compile a list of things that are clearly NOT the goal of the WT.

    NOT Goals of the WT

    -- Feed the hungry

    -- Promote honesty and truth

-- Provide rehab for those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction

-- Provide assistance to unwed, teenage mothers

-- Promote a greater understanding of other religions; tolerance

    -- Equality for women

-- Zero tolerance of sexual abuse

    -- Higher education

-- Professional training for spiritual counselors

    -- Advanced, lifesaving medicine

    I'm just getting warmed up.

The goal of the organization itself is to waste as many people's lives as possible doing the deadest of dead works. The few that work at cross-purposes with that aim or that expose the problems at the top are subject to being disfellowshipped just like anyone else, and no active witless is allowed to discuss with these people what really goes on there. That way, they can keep it secret what their real wasteful purpose is.

The "ultimate goal" has become that of any other large bureaucracy: self-preservation.

More to the point, it's about the preservation of an idea: that they possess religious truth and that its members have not spent their lives sacrificing for ordinary, run-of-the-mill religious beliefs indistinguishable from any others.
