No, it did not.

Looking back, my favorite brother was a closet gay. He died under mysterious circumstances in 1975. I would love to be able to hug him and tell him that it's ok, that there's room for us all.

Good question. Just the other day, I found myself defending the gay lifestyle to a co-worker. It's not so much that I condone it, I have more the attitude that let people live their lives the way they want to. Something I would have never done when I was a full fledged JW.
Nope, still none of my business what two (or more) consenting adults do in private.
