The ego uses a sockpuppet called god.
My dads theory is that the rapture has already occured and that we here on earth are in hell. We get reencarnated over and over into these hard confused lives, where we never really get to understand the universe. The chosen ones are in heaven with jesus being kings and priests and spend most of their day screwing with us.
