Only after joining the Jehovah's Witnesses did I ever hear women referred to as "weaker vessels". How does that make you feel?

If it means physically weaker, I have no problem with that.

I like this version a whole lot better.

1 Peter 3:7 The same goes for you husbands: Be good husbands to your wives. Honor them, delight in them. As women they lack some of your advantages. But in the new life of God's grace, you're equals. Treat your wives, then, as equals so your prayers don't run aground. MSG

I come from a line of strong women.

    "Weaker vessels," my big toe!

In Secrets to Family Happiness (was that the name of the WTS book?) I mentioned that the part meant for women was over twice as long as the chapter for men. Think about it. Maeve
