One would think if the GB are the channel whom god operates through god would at least tell them his proper name.

Jehovah's Witnesses have is that they Really are "free" from world entanglement so are they are free from lies and deceit.

    Really ?

Talk about unmitigated bias, the JWS were founded upon the corrupt commercially derived doctrines created by the leaders and orchestrators of the Watchtower Publishing house, which indeed were full of lies and deceit.

Those are the facts whether one wants to recognize that or not.

These leaders proclaimed that they were striving for true and honest bible interpretation, but were regrettably lying and devious in their pressing support and agenda of proliferating the literature they published.

In essence false religion (charlatans) were proclaiming how other Christian based faiths were false and didn't have god's guiding holy spirit. That's two faced corruption that makes the JW religion unique within itself.

......or pot calling the kettle black as the saying goes.

Exactly. This is especially laughable because the name Jehovah comes from joining the name JHVH (YHWH) with the title Adonai, which literally means "my Lords" but is usually translated to "my Lord" or "Lord."

When you join the consonants from JHVH with the vowels from Adonai, you get "Jahovah." From there, you get to Jehovah. It's a completely man-made name.

(By the way, is it not funny that half of that name is a title, not a name, which is translated to "Lord"? I've heard Witnesses object to people who use "Lord" as God's name (think: the Catholic church) because it's only a title, not a name.)

Ironically most JWS do not know that the name Jehovah was created by the so called false religion of Christendom

(Babylon the Great) It was used because when the name JWS was created by J Rutherford, the King James bible was used by himself and most of the following JWS, before the NWT was created by the WTS.

What I do not understand is that the WTS teaches that using the name JEHOVAH and going door to door are actual fruits that prove their authority.

    Isn't that just effin ridiculous?

If anything, it is only works, AND it's works that produce no fruits what so ever.

Then to top it off, they dump on other faiths that have actually given fruits to the world..

How does anyone fall for this org???

    Just asking

WTS teaches that using the name JEHOVAH and going door to door are actual fruits that prove their authority.

Its the works identifying the organization as commercialized false prophets, if that the works to be told according to the bible.

Works (date setting) that was admonishment and ostracized by Jesus Christ himself.

There is another Christian based faith that preaches door to door as well and that organization was founded upon ignorance lies and fraudulent pretenses. Mormons

JHVH with the vowels from Adonai, you get "Jahovah

No. You don't. jEhOvAh vs. AdOnAI. :-P

Josephus said that it is pronounced according to it's letters/vowels.

It has YHWH, and the word for Judah has YHWDH but pronounced

YEHOWDAH you take the D off and you're left with YEHOWAH

And that's where Martin the Catholic Monk gets the pronunciation in

Latin IEHOVAH, (YEHHOWAH), the Masoretes used the right vowels, an EH to start and an AH at the end.

From Yehowah you can derive Yah, Yahu and Yeho combined names of Biblical characters. Whenever a noun is in a construct state the first vowel gets shortened to a schewa.

The Adonay fallacy is something that gets repeated by folks who hear it and pass it on. The Yahweh pronunciation is a "scholarly" construct that is just not supported in the historical record.

To misuse the name "Jehovah" in the term "JW" for the purpose of founding a new religion was the only way that Rutherford could save the cult of dying out and make it his own, because "Russelites" and "biblestudents" were not following Rutherford anymore, because he taught things that Russel did not preach of.
