I wonder about Neil Young's fascination with Alabama.
I remember him when he was with Buffalo Springfield - For What It's Worth was an anti-Vietnam-war anthem.
Maybe because he's Canadian?
Neil Young is Canadian, though he's lived in California since the 60s.
But For What it's Worth was written by Stephen Stills, also of Buffalo Springfield (and Crosby, Stills, Nash and sometimes Young)
