After the school stuff, the ugliness, the hate, that would keep kids from being inspired by their President to set goals, stay in school, (I downloaded the lesson plans - it is heartbreaking how benign the "agenda" is) - I told Mr Bee that I want to move to Mexico. I don't want to live in a country where people are so hateful that the President can't even talk to school children about the importance of being ambitious, educated, diligent and proud of themselves. He says - "Mexico, no (he doesn't like Mexico, even though we go there at least once every year). How about Canada? (He likes Canada - great golf courses.)" I said, OK, I'm ready. I don't like America that much anymore. If we have gotten to the point that this country is run by talk-show idiots such that the POTUS cannot even tell school children to set educational goals - fuckit.
Bill Moyers talks about the difference between "values" and a "price tag" - he talks about being old enough to not care so much about his own future - but not wanting to leave this mess for his grandchildren. It is well worth watching, trust me. Or not.
