You increase your chances by going to college and getting an advanced degree and then be open minded about taking a good job outside of your field wherever it is found, even if you find it out of your area, like across the country.

I am on a limited income medical pension (Asperger's, multiple-chemical sensitivities, sleep dysfunction), and don't have the constitution to handle debt. So a "good job" for me bears this in mind. Ideally, I'd work from my home computer, where I can control the environment better.

Computer Programming is a good job for working from home.

First, rent and watch the movie "Safe" with Julianne Moore.

Then, if that movie doesn't send you running to seek psychiatric help, you'll have to work out of your home by telephone or computer. I don't know what education or training you've had (outside the WTS, that is), but if you have some skill that requires a computer, you may be able to subcontract with companies that can use your particular skill.

Hope to heaven you didn't follow the WTS's advice to stay away from college or training programs.
