Remember this all time classic from the Awake 1969:

"If you are a young person, you also need to face the fact that you will never grow old in this present system of things."

The Watchtower is not the instrument of any man...

No man's opinion is expressed in The Watchtower.

The writers of the New World Translations were knowledgeable in Koine Greek and ancient bible languages, and therefore the NWT is the most accurate translation out there.

God himself is the Editor in Chief of the Watchtower.

Judge Rutherford was actually a judge....and wasnt an alcoholic.

Russell was not an adulterer, did not steal most of his ideas from previous religious affiliations, did not scam people with his Miracle Wheat, and was not a Mason, nor did he believe in pyramidology, numerology, talking to dead people, invoking spirits or celebrating Christmas and birthdays.

This one was in the km 2/02 (2008 WT lib CD). I remember hearing it said numerous times every year:

" 'Happy is the people whose God is Jehovah'!(P144:15) Those words describe Jehovah's Witnesses as the happiest people on earth."

It's fortunate that JWs are the "happiest people on earth" TM . Othwerwise they might have need of a "worldly psychiatrist" and we know the WT position on that:

"for a Christian to go to a worldly psychiatrist is an admission of defeat, it amounts to 'going down to Egypt for help.'" (Awake! Mar 8 1960 p27)
