I couldn't agree with you more.
I remember when I first came on the board over 5 years ago, I took things "low and slow" too. I wasn't sure what to expect.
As a precaution, I always walked around holding my crotch with one hand and covering my rear with the other. You could pick me out in a crowd.
After a few hundred posts, I switched over to a kevlar jockstrap with velcro cheek protectors under my slacks.
I've got to tell you Baba, it made all the difference. I never felt intimidated again.
