Man, it sucks. I actually liked him and the way he presents products on TV. He was full of energy and enthauism. Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson. Now, Billy Mays. Unbelievable.

Yes my wife has checked all the usual news outlets and so far no reports of him being dead.
THe only one that showed up anything of him being dead was on wikipedia under his name.....thats odd

I think it's a hoax, but I swear I read a blurb of it on CNN.
I found articles for him being dead at 50 from 2008 too!
