    Oh...by onesided I mean, you push the trinity as fact. Many disagree with that. I've read it on many posts, I disagree, as I am sure others do as well, but I feel that at least you made your point and we move on. When it comes to RENIAA, she makes a point to what she believes and you jump all over it. I get it. Its fun. Its fun to see who will win, but sometimes it feels a bit cruel and mean spirited is all.

    Sorry, maryaclaim, I don't push the Trinity as fact. I happen to believe that God is eternal and perfect and has made himself known to his human family in three forms; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Billions of people agree with this and believe the Trinity.

    Reniaa makes points that defend and promote the teachings and beliefs of a false prophet human organisation that has virtually crushed and destroyed the lives of many, many users of this forum.

    This isn't about having fun. I'm not having fun debating Reniaa. She is the product of a controlling religious group that does not allow questioning of its teachings. She continually shows through her posts that her aim is to defend the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses. This is the same Governing Body that has sanctioned the appointment to positions of trust of known pedophiles, have allowed people to die in God's name by not taking organ transplants, who forbid the use of blood but at the same time allow the use of blood...on their terms, who demonise further education, placing it on the same level as drug use and has cut honest hearted Christians whose only desire is to serve God in spirit and truth from their families.

    My pushing the Trinity does not compare with what Reniaa pushes. I'm sorry if you disagree.

    As for it being cruel, read what I wrote above and evaluate whether what the Governing Body does is cruel or not. Then take note of the fact that Reniaa actively supports and promotes the Governing Body on this forum.

    @ reniaa;

    Lol you have just made me goto the actual Jw site, I struggled to find anything related to sex and married couples this is one example. I could find nothing recent relating to the subject, accept this which again backs up my thought that they now are keeping what happens between a couple between them..

    Less readily accepted is what the Bible says on sexual matters. Contrary to what many have been led to believe, the Bible does not prudishly condemn as sinful all sexual desire. But it does provide sound advice on how human sexuality should be expressed. The Bible teaches that sexual relations are reserved for a man and a woman who are married to each other. (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6; Hebrews 13:4) Sex provides a way for marriage mates to express and receive love and tender affection. (1 Corinthians 7:1-5) Any children born of such a union benefit from having two parents who care for each other.—Colossians 3:18-21.

    Sorry, what has that got to do with it? Does the WTS accurately portray their beliefs, rules and laws on their public website? If so, why the need for a 'Study' Watchtower that's not available to the public?

    hi mary can I apologise now that on here people get accused of being me if they in any way are seen to back me up. it weird my sister stop using this site for that very reason she is quite a commited ex-Jw but found the accusations ridiculous.

    You make good points they do tend to allow change to happen than point out that it has changed but not something I find unusual in many religions. I'm pretty sure they have done a complete back down on getting involve in sex between married couples these days and I bet no one can provide a recent example of anyone being rebuked for oral sex between couples and I think time will make this clearer . like I said no current article mentions it, unlike other subjects which they do keep up-to-date articles on, like fornication in unmarried couples.

    Reniaa, you say "You make good points they do tend to allow change to happen than point out that it has changed but not something I find unusual in many religions."

    Are you saying that changing their rules and then not letting their adherents know about it is common in religions. Do you have any examples of this, please?

    Recent examples have been provided Reniaa, you just choose to ignore them or not believe that it happens.

    Irvine Congregation in Ayrshire, Scotland, had a local needs talk on oral sex between married persons within this century.
