    wha happened?

    alamb,

by visiting her and bringing along your kids so they could see the grandparents, shows how u are acting like every daughter should. If the adults can't agree with religion, fine, and you have chosen to take the high road on this by visiting her.

My Mom isn't a JW. Never was. My piece of crap sisters never visit her. Not even for grandkid visits. You can imagine how much grief that brings Mom. She would love to have a daughter like u who can be adult enough to disagree on matters and yet still be a family.

As long as you mother is agreeable to the young grandkids, keep bringing them along. After all, how long can her close minded following of cult teachings stand up to your positive behavior?

this just shows me that ex-JW's are definitely making inroads on the "faithful" The WTS is afraid that all are going to wake up and feel the leather straps of bondage and then there will be a mass exodus. life is soooo calm and peaceful and happy out of that maelstrom of negativity, guilt and shame. I wish all could be free of it.

This bellicosity on the part of the Watchtower leadership reveals a desperation on their part. I am sure that they have some knowledge of the huge number of faders, and that many of them are now posting online. The internet is an enormous problem for them now. They can't keep anything confidential anymore. They know that many members are becomming sick and tired of the organization's treadmill and the level of control over their lives. They know that many of the youth are bored and uninspired; and even worse - they are internet savvy.

This latest Watchtower article reveals a level of desperation that has not been seen since the shake-up after C.T. Russell's death. They are going to make the same mistakes that Rutherford made in attempting to solidify control. The only thing is, today with the internet and abundance of media - such knee-jerk reactions will be much more costly.

This clamping down will not work long-term. Not in the information age. It will have some short-term effect of shoring up some of the loose ends, but this overt authoritarian control is going to drive out a huge number of those already doubting.

It is almost humorous that the Governing Body thinks that they run a "spiritual" organization. There is nothing "spiritual" about it. It is an ideology of superstitious zealoutry.

The article is "Jehovahs Word Is Alive - Highlights from the Letters of John and Jude" it is a verse by verse discussion which accounts for the odd format - but alamb's comments are essentially correct ..it is page 27 - 29

Its that "ganging up" mentality that really pisses me off too on TOP of the damn articles dividing and destroying families! They try to garner support from other JWs AGAINST you. And THAT is supposed to bring you BACK??

My mother in law left the JWs and her elder husband writes all the time to HER adult JW children mocking her and making fun of her and smirking at her helplessness to get her own kids to speak to her any more. Like he is some hero to them now. He makes me SICK. And he talks to her in this sarcastic tone all the time with this half smile like she is a retarded child.

And all the devastation they have caused this loving giving Christian lady...the wreck they have made of her soul...is GODLESS. She is not allowed to see five of her grandchildren either. Grandma has become EVIL to these young ones.

Misery truly LOVES company. Dont they have any F*ing thing else to do than HARRASS their family members??? ssssssssssssssssssssssssssshit

    Ugh....bile rises
