I know it sounds pretentious, but most of what's on commercial TV sickens me --- spoiled, narcissistic, self-absorbed celebs and their scandals and overdoses, etc. The cynicial commercial channels selling ``reality tv" by pandering to the lowest common denominators and at the same time saving tons of money by not producing quality prime-time programing. I really like most of Bill Maher-and Jeopardy, and find the animated ``Family Guy'' beneath contempt. The Simpsons, for most episodes, is outstanding. King of the Hill is quite amusing most of the time.
