So many lost stories on this board. This is amazing!
The ease at which we have been taught to forego life. I mean even the 13 year old immediately told them "no blood".
This is the single most important reason i left the organization when my son was born. I refused to tell him he would need to sacrifice him to a God that cared so much about technicalities, and so little about life.
A very tragic story.

reading about that horor reminded me once again why my wife and I left the JW's in the mid 1960's.
I did not trust the WTBTS enough to think they actually knew what they were talking about when it came to blood. After all I reasoned if this life and death situation was so important why didn't Jesus mention it?
We left and started a family best decision we ever made.
