  The only unalienable rights are what God gives us, everything is done by democratic process.

  "God" gives us the ability to love and in that no ability to make decisions or judgements that have any real merit for anyone else but ourselves. Therefore who does "God" grant you authority over? No one. So in that what I do in my bedroom and who I do it with is only subject to "God". What man is there that can ask that he conceed his throne of judgement? Yet saying that I am minus human in some respect because of my sexual orientation (which can be debated is originating from "God") is doing just that.

  i do my best to respect everyone man. more than anything i'm trying to understand your point of view. im not even trying to argue and i appreciate that neither are you. i take it that your feeling about homosexuals comes from a biblical basis? can you expound on it?

  for the record, watching guys make out makes me want to hurl. kissing is one thing... but then again as i think about it, im not really into watching anyone of any sex do anything overt in front of me. i think my prudish sensibilites get wounded. though in private... well, all is fair game.

The thought of you having sex with anyone - your sweaty brow furrowed, your red neck, pimply back and flabby white butt moving up and down to the joyless rhythm of a Kenny Rogers song as your long-suffering partner waits for the grunt that signals it's finally over - absolutely repulses me, it makes me want to vomit, but I'd never think of objecting to it. I'd certainly never consider restricting your civil rights merely because I don't want to think about your sex life.

  I couldn't agree more. Wonder what was said in the other thread that cause it to be jerked by a mod. Aint no telling since some acts of disrespect are tolerated and others aren't.
