It seems that your time could be better spent doing other things but you waste all your time trashing JW's.

I've got to agree with jgnat. There are consequences for speaking up.
Now if one is prepared to face those consequences or just doesn't give a damn anymore, I say go for it. If not, The Fade is the best course. Nothing wrong with fading, again there's a time and a place. Everyone must make their own decision for themselves when that time comes.
I went out 20 years ago screaming at the top of my lungs and no one wanted to listen. Nowadays I'd be DF'd before I hit the end of the first sentence. For me, I don't care what they say or do, I'm free and have been since 1989.
The best revenge is a life well led.
Leave behind the dysfunction and realize the worst punishment is leaving them to themselves.

Some of you DO sometimes seem obsessed with critiquiing(sp?) the dub organization and focusing like a laser beam on them and them alone, seemingly without any care about what's going on in other orgs out there that likewise claim to have divine backing.... Some of your post counts and histories show this(AG, you are one). You've made an informed decision, walked away from it, now let it go--that's my suggestion. Focus your energies on more productive things--that's what I and others try to do. And believe me, you'll be much happier. I used to harbor a lot of animosity and grudges against same for what I thought were injustices from years gone by, but eventually I just had to let it go... The problems the 'org' has will eventually come home to roost and will take care of themselves. God will see to it.

Well, we weren't part of those "other Orgs", so we'll talk about this one, thank you very much.Furthermore, this organization opened itself to criticism when it decided to try to control , or GOVERN, other peoples lives, and when it pronounced itself the "sole channel" of God on earth and that no one else but JW's have any valid reason for believing they will be saved,and when it chose to cover up child abuse,take their stance on blood,prophesied dates and many other issues.
The people on this forum have plenty of good reason to feel the way they do and getting these emotions out can be very healthy.When THEY decide it's time to "move on"... they will do so.Things aren't done on your time frame, you don't get to call the shots.If God will take care of it all, why didn't you just stay ? Besides , "moving on" is relative term.To what extent does one move on ? That was a rhetorical question by the way.

In other words: "Wait on Jehovah".I, and many others, have had enough of that suggestion (read, cop out).People need to vent, to expose just what the Org really is, to help those seeking a way out, to comfort those in need of comfort, to provide a listening ear, to talk about what they've been through or what they are going through.Some were raised in the CULT and had no choice , they're lives were altered without their consent and they were preyed upon by a beast that calls itself a Faithful and Discreet Slave promising to free them but bringing them under a yoke which they themselves are unwilling to bear.Perhaps hearing all of this is just too painful....or just too real, or just too much truth ? I guess that's motive enough for wishing others would stop talking about it.

Um, Owen, This is the reason I come to JWD... I've been out for 2 months, my world has turned upside down because of 35 years as a dub. And you want me to focus on other organizations??????? Yes, when I want to research other organizations, I will go somewhere else. When I want to vent about how much I dislike the WTS for lying to me since I was 3 years old, I will be here. Yes, that's why I post here....
