I have so many.

Jimmy Shaw because I've met him twice and because he's the guitarist for my favorite band right now (and trumpet player for my second favorite band).

Jimmy Page because he was my favorite guitar player of all time. I loved his work in both the Yardbirds and Led Zeppelin.

George Harrison because he always has had a real sweet, whimsical style.

Tom Verlaine because "Marquee Moon" is the best song ever.

Eric Clapton because "Layla" is the best song ever.

Kirk Hammett (pre-Load era) is my favorite in the metal genre -- clean riffs with a quasi-classical sound.

Neil Girardo, husband of Pat Benetar, and player on most (all?) of her famous hits.
