My memory is a little fuzzy, but it is a monument to the French port of Calais during the Hundred Year war where Edward (England -obviously)
demanded that the town leaders surrender them selves naked with nooses around their necks.

naked (vulnerable) and noosed speaks volumes. I guess I just saw something different. But yeah, the vulnerable part definitely.
Why do you think people have dreams of going to school (or wherever) naked? I u sed to always dream I forgot my shoes.
In some ways we are all naked and noosed. We all live at someone else's whim.
