Ahhh, Some have there feelings hurt when chatting online, So what the hell is knowing my name have anything to do about it.

The administrator has our email anyway, So the authoritys could track you down in 1 second if you did anything illegal. Which I can't even think of what could be , Besides Death threats.

This is just another example of a politician talking out his ass. People shouldn't play in the fire if the don't want to get burned.

This shit burns me me up, JWD is going nowhere and if we hade to give our name, where do I sign ?

I sent him this email; Sometimes even the best of plans one needs to look at all the potential repercussions before acting on them. Your new bill about anonymous online posting is going to hurt far more people than it helps. Think about forums that help cult members on their way out of a cult. There are many forums like this on the web. I left a Cult seven years ago that I was raised in. If I was not able to post anonymously on the web site found at www.jehovahs-witness.com I might still be in the cult. This site has literally save many lives more than you could ever imagine. Remember the Witnesses do not believe in blood transfusions. Many people are alive today because of my research that is posted on this site.
You have not look at the effect this bill could have on many people. Other forums exist which the poster needs anonymity such as medical sites, sites that help family's that have had children molested. What about predators on the web? With just a Google search they would be given a map to the front door of families with children. Please use your God given head and think about the repercussions of your actions.

If anyone lives in Kentucky, do not re-elect Tim Couch for any position! That humanoid is the one that is threatening to make it illegal to post anonymously on forums, citing cyberbullies. This would make it impossible to post anything about Jehovah's Witlesses without Brother Hounder immediately knowing who put it there. Anyone trying to smuggle littera-trash would find it impossible--because Tim Couch made it mandatory to put your real name on the forum.

This is not just our problem as apostate witlesses. There are other cults with similar problems. They would be intimidated by the cult leaders, preventing full objectivity. People would be bullied by their bosses at work to post highly positive comments about their work and the company, even advertising their company products, on public forums since the boss can check the forum and tell who is posting only mildly positive comments, let alone deserved negative ones. And the leaders would be able to keep us dumbed down, since the cyberbullying would be replaced with letter bombs and shootings at houses.

Cyberbullying is a potentially serious threat, but it is not the responsibility of the government to control. The government should only respond to those who post those threats, and they can use the IP address numbers that come with the post to trace the person who posts death threats, kiddy porn, and other illegal material. Forum administrators should take responsibility by deleting offending posts, warning and sanctioning the trolls that are the perpetrators, and banning such people from their forums. Notably, most of the sites (including this one) have rules against cyberbullying. I have never had a major problem with cyberbullying (that is, one that would warrant criminal charges) on this site. The administrators do a commendable job at controlling the trolls that show up.

I think Tim Couch should be shown that the Watchtower Society does not need his help. We should make sure that this bill is the end of his political career, and that can be done by voting in his opposition come Election Day. That will also send a message to any other lawmakers that any attempt to ruin freedom of speech will be the end of their careers as lawmakers.
