Rocky: The concept is found in the KJV as well. It's not just a JW concept. Jesus endorsed it, as do most fundamentalist nuts.
Psalms 14:1 "The fool has said in his heart: There is no god." (But the wise man says it out loud. )
Mattew 5:22 "But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire."

The scripture says athiests are foolish, so they reason that anyone foolish must be an athiest. Smert, huh?
