The Glory of love is one of my top favorites, too.

The poetry and message... makes me stop and think every time I hear it.

    Good choice, abandoned.

I have so many favorites. Especially from the 1960's.That's why it's strange for me, a child of the 60's to say it's a toss up between

1 Under The Bridge by The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

2 Or maybe Pride by U2.

3 Then there's This One Goes Out To The One I Love by REM.

4 And Down By The River by Neil Young.

5 Love Is The Answer by Todd Rundgren.

6 Crimson and Clover by Tommy James and the Shondells.

7 Every Little Thing She Does by the Beatles. It's so hard to choose.

    8 Beethoven's 7th Symphony

9 Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield, the 20 minute version.

Sorry I can't pick just one, so it's a toss-up between 'Mmm, bop!' and 'Achy breaky heart'.

    I've always enjoyed "Take five"

Does it have to be just one song?

Here's one I never grown tired of, beautiful song...

    Neneh Cherry & Youssou N'Dour - '7 Seconds'

Boul ma sene, boul ma guiss madi re nga fokni mane
Khamouma li neka thi sama souf ak thi guinaw
Beugouma kouma khol oaldine yaw li neka si yaw
Mo ne si man, li ne si mane moye dilene diapale
    Roughneck and rudeness,
We should be using, on the ones who practice wicked charms

For the sword and the stone
    Bad to the bone
    Battle is not over
    Even when it's won
And when a child is born into this world
    It has no concept
Of the tone the skin is living in

    It's not a second
    But 7 seconds away
Just as long as i stay
    I'll be waiting
    It's not a second
    7 seconds away
Just as long as i stay
    I'll be waiting
    I'll be waiting
    I'll be waiting

    Changer
    7 seconds away
Just as long as i stay
    I'll be waiting
    It's not a second
    7 seconds away
Just as long as i stay

    I'll be waiting
    I'll be waiting
    I'll be waiting

And when a child is born into this world
    It has no concept
Of the tone the skin is living in
    And there's a million voices
    And there's a million voices
To tell you what she should be thinking
So you better sober up for just a second
    7 seconds away
Just as long as i stay
    I'll be waiting
    It's not a second
    7 seconds away
Just as long as i stay
    I'll be waiting
    It's not a second
    7 seconds away
Just as long as i stay
    I'll be waiting

The Lion Sleeps Tonight- not sure who did this, but I've always loved it.

Sympathy for the Devil, by Rolling Stones

    Pagan Girl by Emerald Rose

Down With the Sickness By Disturbed (although I also like Richard Cheese's version a lot)

I Can Dream About You by Dan Hartman (yeah, I'm definitely a child of the 80's!)

Any one of these songs playing on my cd player will put me in a good mood for the next hour or so.
