Were does it say in the NT that you can not have more then one wife?

"Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach," -1 Timothy 3:2

BA- By extension, to be "above reproach", any man would do so.

Is it better to be a dead freeman or a living slave?

    AC:

    Societal.

But that doesn't constitute a proper definition of "morality," does it?

Truly moral convictions must come from something outside ourselves, and which in and of itself constitutes a higher power which not only knows, but has by virtue of that intrinsic authority dictated, what is right and wrong.

But then we get into Plato and Aristotle and other such inquiries.

I know this verse, but it is the only one, I think, that mention this and it is not by definition a "law" and it's not on the list of the things that will get you tossed in the lake of fire.

My bad, you are correct in stating it is not a law. It is more accurately described as a principle.

So do you think it's moral? You answered my question with a question.
