Oh, so it sounds more like a "pioneer service school" kind of thing. Not necessarily to implement new procedures or release a new book, but more of a "you guys are all so special, we love you...now go beat the sheep" kind of message...
Interesting. The gung-ho types will lap this up like a starving kitten, then come back with their faces glowing like Moses.
A pretty crafty move on the part of the GB. They realize that elders' morale is sagging, so news of this will make them all feel "so special" and perhaps give some poor saps more incentive to hang on a few more years.

60,000 elders in the US branch. At 300 per week for 50 weeks that is 15,000 a year. It'll take 6 years at that rate for the US alone.

I think that there's definitely a new elders manual that will be released. But don't be expecting the Society to be making any firm statements in it. This new manual will be for damage control. The material will be vague with a lot of margin space for the attendees to write on the pages. This method protects them as if they never made the statements at all. No doubt their legal staff are behind this strategy.
