BURGERTIME: Thanks for the link. It's great! I am wondering what definition of nature someone is using when they say homosexuality is not natural. It has occurred in the animal kingdom and humanity as far back as we know of... thus, it is natural. A Bugis tribe in Indonesia considers there to be 5 genders...in recognition of what they have observed in nature.

Without going through the entire thread, let's just say that "morality" is a cultural variable. Just because Judeo-Christian moral values predominate much of the Western world doesn't mean that they are superior or even normal.

Homosexuality has had a place in many diverse cultures around the world. Missionaries and other purveyors of prudery have sought to extinguish the wonderful variety of human sexual expression by teaching hatred of self and body. People who hate their own sexuality have a hard time forming healthy sexual relationships with others and attempt to pass that loathing on to their own children.

Homosexuality exists in nature and is not a threat to reproduction. If anything, given our present levels of overpopulation on this planet, homosexuality should be encouraged. Homosexuality is not a threat; intolerance is.
