    I was already out before I found out the truth about the "truth." If it was not for the internet and sites like this, I am sure I would have tried to return, or lived with tremendous guilt about leaving, that would have clouded the rest of my life. Thank the Lord for sites like these. The internet just reaffirmed my leaving.

    No! I stepped down and did the fade before I found this JWD and other internet sites. It was the lying and the miscarriage of justice toward one of my own that opened my eyes.

    I'm an "old timer" who left thirty years ago...I think all jw's come to a point were the "rubber meets the road" wether to continue as a jw, or not. Easy for some, very difficult for others.

    Having sites like this makes the transition a little less painful, because todays jw on the way out finds a huge support group that lets the individual know their not alone. Isolation being a key factor in keeping the r & f in line. The internet has robbed the wt of that tactic.
