  Did you, even in subtle ways, stop living now, "putting all of your eggs" in one basket- The Paradise Earth?

  Were you so busy with "theocratic activities" that you planned to actually enjoy life once the New System arrived.

  I certainly did.

  I gave up my ambitions career-wise to pioneer, and gave up my then boyfriend as he didn't want to be a jw. I always thought I'd have a fulfilling life and a "perfect" husband in the paradise. It took me 25 years to wake up to reality.

  Yes, everytime I sacrificed something I did it knowing the new system would reward me.

  Small sentence but it infiltrated all my thoughts constantly.

  Yes.

  In little ways, I wouldn't go out and enjoy myself on the weekends as I didn't want to be too tired to go to the meeting or on the min.

  Also in bigger ways, I pioneered, instead of concentrating on my health problems and dealing with them more proactively, coz of course everything will be ok in the new system and in the meantime you don't wanna be found bloodguilty now do you.

  , and I'm still doing it, because my wife is so deeply entrenched. Not even the trauma of the recent case we have been involved in will shift her.

  I despair, I am controlled by the WTBTS, night and day.

  3. Prep and conducting BS
  4. At least two talks on Thursday night
  5. At least one PT a month

  7. Pioneer meeting parts
  8. DC parts
  9. Elders meetings
  10. Service overseer
  11. Congo accounts

  Me too. Why plan for retirement? This system's going to end next week, early June at the very latest. Why get an education? Why do anything at all, when there's such an urgent work to do?

  I'll be happy in the paradise. For now, I'll just -- as one brother used to say all the time -- "maintain".

  Wow IP_SEC! Our "theocratic" resumes are identical with one small exception, I never got stuck doing the accounts at the local level. Glad you're living now bro. I am too. F#$% them!
