    (((((((Warlock's Friend))))))...

You are not alone, and you are not judged by the people here. You are valuable as a person and count in many ways. This time of year is always very hard to deal with for those who are not feeling so merry. Not knowing your situation, I am guessing that you have been rejected by family, or a spouse. I hope this is not the case but understand that if it is, or any other concern... you have much sympathy from this board, and myself.

Hope these words help in some way, and if need be please post yourself......that is therapy in and of itself.

    Take care.

To Warlocks friend: We care about you! Hope you get to a place that feels positive, safe and comforting soon. Whatever your burdens are, if we can help, you can let us know, and we will do the best we can.

I have had some bad spells of depression. I have taken meds and minerals. Selenium helped me for some reason. "Healing Depression Naturally" is a book that helped.

Get happy soon. Consider yourself hugged. I give a great hug, so consider yourself hugged REALLY effectively!

Depression has many causes. There is a difference between being sad and stressed by the monumental change of leaving the WTS and the "friends" and full blown depression which needs more than words to alleviate and can can be dangerous if left untreated.

If you're just down and blue, embrace it. It is part of the healing process and a necessary step to the new you.

If its more serious get help. You'll be glad you did.

When I was depressed I held it in and did not want to make other people uncomfortable with my dark feelings, but I needed someone that would listen and actually care.

Because it is ok to feel that way.

I hope you have someone you can trust to talk to and not face your sadness alone.

Don't hold the feelings inside, reach out to a friend or a professional counselor if you must.

Because you are worth being heard. You deserve to be comforted. You are allowed to be sad, angry, frustrated, afraid..it's all ok. Just not to feel them alone.

.."Have a beer!"..Those words always cheer me up!..LOL!!...OUTLAW

There is someone who posts on this board who is very depressed. You know how it is. Life can throw you curves and it can be hard enough without the excess baggage of having been a witness.

Can you please help her with some kind words?

Paxil works for some. Time heals. You have to reinvent yourself. I wish you the best.

What a kind thing to do for your friend. I'm sure she appreciates it very much.

    Warlock's friend,
I know what it's like to be down and even waaaaaaaay down, but I know you would be very missed if you weren't here. Things get tough and sometimes it looks like everything is coming at you at once, but I'm sure that something will show up for you.

I have had that feeling recently. For me it was best to talk it out....even posting it if it isn't too personal. It was my way of coping with the negative that was eating me alive.

Many on this board replied to my topics and serves as a reminder of how supportive people are here and that many here have felt the same way with leaving a cult.

Hang in there....and many hugs to you.
