It's sickening and the opposite of an apology. Would he be prepared to stand in front of a crowd of ex/JWs who have been unnecessarily abused and say what he is saying?

When will these one eyed men realize that sincere religion should be about love. Not idolized love towards an organization but love for one another and particularly our children.

And of course that is a rhetorical question ... we all know the answer to that.

exJW's are the epitome of evil, tools of the devil, dogs that have returned to the vomit. Surely a humble victim who truly loved Jehovah would have waited on Jehovah to fix everything in the New System of Things(tm), those who speak against God's Organization, victim or not, deserve no apology or non-apology, they are the lowest a human being can be.

Its very telling that he addressed it. If it wasn't signifigant he wouldnt have touched on it. Clearly its made an impression

This Lett guy is the poster child of Black and White thinking. He claims to know what is going on in the invisible realms what a mentally sick loser he really is.

Great discussion about Lett's comments on Facebook. It includes two examples of what some are claiming are "apostate-driven lies".

Lett: "As an example, think about the apostate-driven lies and 'dishonesties' that Jehovah's organization is permissive toward pedophiles."

So Bro Lett, please explain how having a 'two witness' rule is nothing other than a protection for pedophiles?
This rule facilitates them, enables them, and gives them a way to avoid your judicial processes.

Does your "Don't tell the congregation there's a pedophile in the congregation" policy assist parents and young ones to protect themselves, or is it more likely to promote the trusting of these known molesters?

It is easy to say you 'abhor' child abuse, but if you meant it you would do more than repeat a slick soundbite, you would demonstrate that you abhor it by driving it out of the congregation and not appointing such men to positions of trust, while hiding their crimes.

The proof that you do, in fact, protect pedophiles is becoming clear in courtrooms all around the world, where decades of hiding these men is now coming back to bite you so hard, you are forced to denounce it publicly on your TV channel.

So let me get this right, the rank and file are to think that when they hear a report about the police arresting a JW pedophile, a jury finding them guilty and a judge passing sentence it is all lies!!

Therefore the victim/survivor who bravely came forward did so not to seek justice but to be apostate??

This is just sick and twisted.
