There are many differences between a "worldly" person aka "normal" and a JW. For example, a JW is horrified by Christmas lights. It's the work of the Devil! But a normal person, little kids included, think they're beautiful....Can you think of any other examples of glaring differences between a JW cultist and one that's not???

A normal non or ex - jw can think for themselves

An active jw can't, or wouldn't dare admit they had done

A normal person goes shopping, does chores or realxes on a Saturday morning

An active jw goes knocking on normal peoples' doors annoying them

Define "normal person." To suggest that someone is normal just because they aren't a JW is not a good premise to start with.

BTW, I know of non-JWs who think Christmas lights are of the devil.

    Webster defines "normal" as "regular".

Here's a few more differences: A normal person will see terror, bombings and destruction as a bad thing. Not JWs! They rejoice, for their deliverance is very near.--------A normal person might say, "God bless you!" when a person sneezes but a Witness will refrain because it's supposed to have a demon connection. --------A normal person might look at a house and remark how beautiful it is. A JW will say how they can hardly wait til the person is "destroyed" so that they can move into that house.

A normal person eats turkey with the family on Xmas Day and calls it Xmas dinner.

A JW eats turkey with the family on Dec 25 and calls it a gathering with a roast for lunch.

Take one look at Charlie Russell in his later years and you'll see the difference mini

A normal person will order a pepperoni pizza. A JW will ask the pizza guy to analyze the pepperoni packaging to see if there are any animal by-products (aka blood) in it.

um, actually, imho, not much at the level of spiritual/psychological development. i see most people in our culture and society with similar amounts of fear and guilt. just from cultural sources, instead of religious ones.

ever heard of the term "waking sleep"? alseep to "reality", even as they neurotically go about their daily business, serving themselves before others. intelligent apes, surely, but who have not disassociated from their egoic mind.

sans fear & guilt = liberation. liberation = liberalness. not just in the arts, but in everything.

    peace,

    tetra
