    The Bible never actually calls Earth a sphere. "Circle of the Earth" doesn't inspire a globe shape.

    Actually, I believe the word "watchtower" is in the bible, Hebrew, "mizpah."

    Blondie (love all your posts……. you rocks )

    Mizpah is a look out like in high place

    Watchtower "Migdal shmira" (not in the Bible)

    The words 'FASCIST GENOCIDAL FECKIN and LUNATIC' aren't in the bible.

    But then that might expose Jesus and his Dad!!!

    Well, z, if the Hebrew word is not "mizpah" many bibles besides the NWT are translating some word to be "watchtower."

    Isaiah 21:8 (NIV)

    And the lookout shouted,
    "Day after day, my lord, I stand on the watchtower;
    every night I stay at my post.

    Isaiah 21:8 (KJV)

    And he cried, A lion: My lord, I stand continually upon the watchtower in the daytime, and I am set in my ward whole nights:

    Isaiah 21:8 (CEV)

    Then a guard said, "I have stood day and night on this watchtower, Lord.

    So are all these bibles then mistranslating?

    Blondie (I was at work and couldn't post these, there are more translations that also use the word "watchtower" although it may not be from the Hebrew word "mizpah.")
