Someone might have already mentioned this but:

Church is in the Bible, but as far as I know "Kingdom Hall" is not.

Funny how the dubs have demonized the word "church".

As an afterthought, I figured I was wrong about Watchtower.

Is the word "Bible" in the Bible? How about the words "Scriptures" or "Testament"?

    Jayhawk1,

Actually the word Christian appears 3 times in the Bible, at Acts 11:26; 26:28 and 1 Peter 4:16

    Nosferatu,

The word "Bible" is not in the Bible, but Scriptures is (i.e. Mat. 21:42, 22:29; 26:54; 2 Tim. 3:15; 2 Pet. 3:16, etc). As to the word "testament," it depends on which translation you use. The King James, for example, uses the word, but the New World Translation uses "covenant."

By the way, is the term "new world" in the Bible? I know "new earth" is, but I don't recall the other.

    How about

    Portable Phonographs

    Advertising Placards

    Printing Presses

    Vomit,

Go back and read the article you referenced. It says that the words "antichrist" or "antichrists" appears 5 times in the Bible.

Actually the word does in a round about way appear in the bible. However it is anything but flattering to the dub interpretation.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanhedrin

Which goes to show that if the dubs are in fact the reestablishment of anything 1st Century, it would be Pharisaical Judaism!

    Committee

Again there is an approximation of the JC in scripture. In like manner, this too in no way flatters the dub religion.

Job was harassed by a self righteous "committee" of 3 men.

Likewise Paul challenged them as being illegitimate.

(1 Corinthians 4:3) Now to me it is a very trivial matter that I should be examined by YOU or by a human tribunal.. . .

If witnesses judged Tribunals the same as they do Birthdays, they would be classified as Pagan too, since the only two references in the bible to the forming of a Judicial Tribunal are very negative.

    Just my two cents worth.
