I haven't followed all of this thread but I am surprised that the FDS made concessions on this issue instead of going on about the pagan origins and false religion associations of this customary attire. For once they showed a reasonable spirit but then as in Mexico they may have ulterior motives.

Exactly. And the WTS has the audacity to piss on about Catholicism and other denominations for defiling Christianity with "pagan" observances like Christmas and Easter just to get people "in".
