Ever know of a great family movie, the Witnesses found demons or evil in?

I remember growing up, the Witness children were often ones that were left to see all those G rated movies from Disney. Yet even those at time, while accepted by just about every religion out there, were considered demonic. For example, the following movies were said to show witchcraft and in or congregation we were encouraged to discard them and not own copies of them; Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, the Little Mermaid, Bed Knobs and Broomsticks, and Fantasia. All movies that were telling what would be considered bedtime stories.

As I got older, movies would come out that seemed okay by most and yet there would always be something that would find the Witnesses saying that we should not see them. As example,

Forest Gump : Bad because he was in the army and there was the war seen, has sex out of wedlock, drugs shown

Independence Day : Dwelling on alien life, is taking our minds off God. Also, destroying the White house was disrespectful to the government.

These are just a couple of examples of things I heard. I never really cared and since being a child, have pretty much watched whatever movie I wanted. I just did not make an issue of telling others the movies I had seen, kept it to myself. I saw R rated movies all the time, and I know others did too. I just remember the humor in seeing certain movies picked about by the cult to show how demonic or evil they were. Can you think of movies they found evil or demons in, that so many others would have never seen?

    All of them!
"Are they proclaiming Jehovah's name? no? are they the works of man? yes? then they are from Satan!" I'm really surprised that I ever saw a movie growing up.

We weren't allowed to watch Bewitched on TV. I wonder why?

    Alice in Wonderland

Because of the drug us. They were smoking Opium in that movie. As for Bewitched, I heard in a urban legend that a Witness was watching that and the television started moving across the room. My television watched it all the time, and saw no movement.
