    HappyDad very sad and shameful.

At least she still loves you! And will use every tactic she can think of to stay LOYAL and still be in touch with you.

If you still pray............your MOM definitely needs to be first on your list.

your support and love make it easier for me. It has been tough.

Sorry for the way things are for you now, it made me break down also 'cause i'm going thru it too. I hate that religion! Bob

    Aw e honey,

I am so sorry you have to go through life with anything from the JEW's in your life. unfortunately, if your family still is in, you still have to work around it or walk away. It is hard...Sending love your way.

Like a lot here i believe she "accidentally on purpose" rang you. The fact that she just went into a conversation with you like there had never been a break for me proves she had you on her mind and things she wanted to talk about with you already planned in her head. Shes missing you.

The next few weeks are going to be tough for a lot of people here. There's a watchtower study coming up that deals with close family members that have fallen away. It will push a lot of emotional buttons with those still in. Maybe you're mother was pre studying it and it started this off.

Out of all the posts I have read here, I kept thinking, what a great woman, mother, grandmother, etc. So I officially have adopted you in my life as a what ever you would like to be. I am 47 you make up your own mind Will you help me here?

Since you seem to have a loving Mother already......Why not call me GRAN like a few others do on here ((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))

Restrangled: I call you then because thats business.

That just hit me in the gut. She has to suppress her natural mother's heart even to talk to you. And then to end it with the stupid rule, as if that is more important than anything else. Awful.

Nowman, your story gives hope. Stupid strained relations don't have to be forever.

Been There: Maybe you could call her next week and ask for Julia.

    Great idea! LOL

These things are not accidents. Just goes to show that even the WTS cannot smother true love. Keep loving your Mom and maybe one day she will be free too.

Both Mrs G and my thoughts are with you.

She does still love you I am sure.

    I also agree with this:

I don't think it would take much of a loophole to get your mom back in your life and in doing so it may get her to realize what an utter shame the shunning policy is.

"It almost sounds like she planned to phone you, but wanted to make it sound like it was accidental." This could be the crack in the dam that will get larger and finally destroy the artificial barrier.
