I went before a JC at 18 even though I wasnt baptised for sleeping with my girlfriend...I cant believe I confessed to it but after feeling all the guilt about being cut off at the Big A I caved in after a week. They asked whether I had had penetrative sex...and I couldnt contain the smirk on my face either. I mean what a stupid question!

They also asked whether we had engaged in oral sex which we had but I didnt admit to...hehe...its not as though I wasnt truly repentant because I was kinda sorry - the sex was shite (it was our first time) and we felt guilty after...what a bad deal? lol.

I mean the line of questioning was stupid; They called round because I said I had had sex with my girlfriend....and then they were asking whether it was penetrative??? If I had fessed up about the oral they wouldve probably asked whether we used our mouths and I didnt want to risk me laughing my sorry ass off.

One thing though the elder who was youngest was great...very on the ball and had my total respect; he looked shocked at the questions asked by the other panel and when it came to his time for questions he smiled and said knowingly that I had probably answered enough questions for that day but asked only how I felt then and how I felt about my girlfriend - very perceptive I thought.

Just my experience of JCs anyway.

After I sent to Brooklyn a list of false prophecies, bad translations, and outright lies, and then visited Crooklyn (imagine - I wanted to speak to the G.B.) the elders formed a J.C. They had copies of the many letters and articles I wrote to Brooklyn, and it was going to be my night (after the Service Meeting). They had a few other JCs going that night due to a wedding that became a drunken shindig the previous weekend. They told me to wait in the library as they dealt with others in the second Ministry School. I waited 15 minutes, checked where the Judicial records were stored (had been a servant, a pioneer, and still had a key). The Judicial records box was unlocked, so I called 2 friends who had been DF'ed for apostacy that month and asked if they wanted me to take their folders, as well as mine and my wife's. They said yeah, so I gathered the 4 sets of publisher cards, and the 4 sets of Judicial records, and casually left the hall. 30 minutes later I got a call from some very pissed off elders accusing me of removing "Theocratic property". Never returned anything. They called over and over - no answer. They visited a few times - no answer. One day I saw an elder in the supermarket and he said I needed a "good beating to bring me back to Jehovah's Organization." I still have my last publisher record card and pioneer card. Screw them! Bozos and mean men!

I've been before a committee for apsotacy with eight elders in the appeal process: 5 in the first committee, and 3 in the appeal.

The first meeting they asked if i had any recording device on me and was not allowed to bring my lawyer, the elders would not answer any of my questions I asked and sat stone faced, I asked them several times but they all repeated what the PO said in responce to my questions:"You tell us" and refused to answer, it looked like they were trying not to hear anything I said, and where silently praying not to come under my evil apostate influence.

The appeal committee was a little better they at least answered my questions and tried to restore my faith, thier answers were pathetic, and I managed to get them to contradict themselves to which one of the elders from the 1st committee started to cry out loud ( I think he was crying because he didn't want to hear anything that would damage his faith in the organization.

The appeal committee let stand the decission to DF, and when I asked when they would announce it to the congregation they told me that was none of my business, they waited about a month and made the announcement while the Circccut Overseer was visiting, which i was present, and then the CO at the end of the meeting said there was to be a meeting with all attendants about some new security measures they were to implement(no doubt about how to handle me if I came to the KH anymore).

About 4 months later I went to the meeting and was told to leave, I refused and they called the cops, even though I was sitting quietly durring the whole meeting, the only thing I did was to talk to people that didn't know me or that i was DF'd(it really pisses the elders off when you don't recognize their authority).

The cops came I think there were about 8 of them and 4 cop cars, they came to the front of the hall where i was sitting quietly and asked me to leave to which I said no, they then physsically escorted me out. When out of the building I asked them why they had so many cops, one officer remarked that the elders told them I was dangerous, and strong.

Three JC's (for the same offence) were scheduled for me but I canceled twice on them and stood them up the last time. I read here enough to know I would have been crazy to attend that Kangaroo court.
