Of course these senile old reptiles have been so busy snoozing through GB meetings they forget what the Bible says:

"The things practised by them are too shameful to relate."

"uncleanness should not even be mentioned among you"

"the truth (about Jesus) will set you free."

So they send out letters relating in detail what people get up to in private. And JWs are not free, but crushed by a mountain of man-made rules.

Anybody with the spirit of Christ will know the difference between healthy sexuality, and criminal perversions.

And WHY are the elders not told to report a person viewing child abuse to the police?

The mind numbing stupidity of elders counseling and punishing this is unbelievable.

Human sexuality is God given, they say. God given maybe, but governed by THEM.

The whole concept of immorality is TWO people, you fu**ing idiots. To view people having sex, what is the crime???? If a husband and wife, or whatever can HAVE sex, how can watching it on a screen be considered an actionable issue?

    The mind boggles.

I admit I haven't read the entire thread, but do you think this is the 'new light' we've been 'anticipating' for months?

i have always wondered why this is not public knowledge. ok, telling a JC how to think about a commitee might want to be secret, but how is a publisher supposed to know all this stuff? or is the idea to scare them into not doing anything near the stuff mentioned? we need a scan cuz this would be fun to show everyone. imagine if a wts letter told publishers that they could view soft core( basically pornographic pics on film) and it wasn't "that bad". as long as it was not gay or degading. i guess that would raise a few eyebrows. so technically looking at a playboy or penthouse is not that bad unless you try to coerese someone else to look with you or "brazenly" view it?

    sounds f'ed up to me.

this would be a doozy to get posted online

Would the GB consider sex scenes in R-rated movies soft porn? Does this set the stage or provide ammunition to remove those who watch R-rated movies?

I guess if you want to be found approved in the day of judgement, you would come forward and spill your guts. Tell the elders what you have been upto and come clean.......Yeah right!!! BTW does anyone remeber the story of Pat that was on the silentlambs? She passed away, but before she died she had some stuff to say about BIG TED.....thats why child porn/molestation is seen by him as a sex sin, if that!!??

The story I was alluding to is found on this page:
    http://www.silentlambs.org/Archive2.htm
    http://www.silentlambs.org/courageaward/index.cfm
Pat Garza: Watchtower intimidates those who suffer abuse. pat was afraid when she first spoke to silentlambs to use her own telephone for fear of what the organization would to do to her. Now that she has been involved with the progress of the silentlambs organization over two years she has grown in both personal and spiritual ways. She is a person who has courageously stepped up and not only spoken out in court for victims of abuse but also spoken about her own abuse and has went fearlessly to the media recently and contacted them She did an excellent job of articulating how Watchtower policy hurts so many and the need to protect the children.
